Dia De Los Ninos ParadeDia De Los Niños/Dia De Los Libros 2024 will be held on April 27, starting at 11:00am at Washington Park, 200 Washington St., El Paso, TX 79905

To kickoff this celebration, the El Paso Public Library will be hosting a half-mile Dia De Los Niños/Dia De Los Library Parade/Desfile for schools and children’s organizations at 10:00am, starting at 500 Shelter Pl. and ending at Washington Park.

Parade Route
Staging area at 500 Shelter Pl.
Parade Begins at corner of Shelter Pl and Orchard Ave., moves north past E. Paisano Dr., continues north on Washington St., ends at N Evergreen St and into Washington Park.

Parade Requirements
Parade is for walking participants only, no vehicles of any kind allowed. School uniforms, or costumes are allowed. Banners for your organizations are preferred. Mobile speakers may be used for music accompaniment. Walking groups are limited to 50 participants.

Parade Rules

• Participants must maintain a safe distance between themselves and spectators.
• No throwing of objects or materials, including candy or promotional items to spectators.
• Participants must follow the designated route and adhere to any instructions given by parade organizers or officials.
• No political campaigning or solicitation of any kind is allowed during the parade.
• Costumes or attire should be appropriate for all ages and inoffensive.
• All signage or banners must be in good taste and appropriate for a family-friendly event.
• No pets or animals are allowed.

Any violation of these parade rules or requirements may result in removal from the parade at the discretion of organizers or officials.
